The origin story of Earl Grey tea is somewhat disputed, but one popular legend attributes its creation to Charles Grey, a British Prime Minister in the 19th century.
The story goes that he was gifted a tea blend flavored with bergamot oil by a Chinese Mandarin, and he loved it so much that he asked British tea merchants to recreate the blend for him.
The merchants then began selling the blend as "Earl Grey tea," and it became a popular tea variety that is still enjoyed around the world today.

Steeping Instructions
Steeping black tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour 6 oz water over the tea bag and steep for 3-5 minutes.
